On the Misdeeds and Unthéodishness of the Outlaw Dan H

It has now been made known to the Théodish Ríce and to its Cyning that Dan H, an infamous wearg (outlaw) who was cast out from our folk many years ago, has lately been jailed for an evil lustfulness and unmanly eeriness (OE iergþ, ON ergi).

It should go without saying that this is no misdeed of a Théodsman. Indeed, it has long been a matter of public record that this fiend was outlawed from the Théodish Ríce, and thus from Théodish Belief itself, in 2002. Though he thereafter claimed otherwise, in truth this wolfhead (outlaw) has not been a Théodsman, much less a “Théodish leader,” of any kind since he was outlawed some twenty-three years ago. Despite what was widely reported at the time, this wearg was not even a Théodsman when he was arrested in 2013 on charges of political corruption.

Any attempt to associate Théodsmen and our Théodish Belief with this outlaw’s past or present crimes, either by mention in news media or on social media by hashtag, is either borne of an ulterior motive or done so out of ignorance.

Given by Þórbeorht Hláford Cyning on the IXth day of Éastermónaþ MMXXV.
